JNU's cadre of administrative staff members in charge of international affairs took part in a study and training program on international management of higher education at the Uniwersytet Rzeszowski (UR) in Poland from April 7 to 15 to broaden their international horizon and improve their professional level. This training program was a cooperation program under Erasmus+, a European Union international cooperation program.
UR arranged five days of training and invited administrative staff members and scholars from various administrative departments and faculties, including economics, sociology and history, and mathematics and natural sciences, to conduct lectures, discussions, field visits and exchanges for the JNU delegation. These activities involved several aspects of higher education in Europe, including history and current situations, university administrative systems, international exchange and cooperation, scientific research, management and evaluation, student training, think-tank construction, and field trips.
Erasmus aims to strengthen global cooperation in education and scientific research and promote exchange in academics, scientific research, training and talents between colleges and universities in the EU and non-EU countries. UR is one of the EU's stronger comprehensive universities.
