JNU Deputy Party Secretary Xia Quan Led a delegation from the College of Pharmacy and the Office of Poverty Alleviation and relevant departments of the Guangxi Wuzhou Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., to inspect targeted poverty reduction work in Ruoguo village in Nanxiong city on April 18 and 19.

The College of Pharmacy cooperated with the Pharmaceutical Group in helping Ruoguo's industry early this year. They adopted a model combining enterprises, cooperatives, bases and poverty-stricken households to cultivate 19.8 acres of Chinese herbal medicine, including radix zanthoxyyli and desmodium styracifolium, to benefit poor families.
