Kazuo Takahashi, vice president in charge of international affairs at Toyo University (TU) in Japan, visited JNU on Feb.4. JNU Vice President Song Xianzhong met with the delegation, along with representatives from the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation and the College of Economics.
Song extended his warm welcome to the delegation and briefed it on JNU's history and current development status, as well as the latest progress in its construction as a high-level and "double first" university. Song expressed his wish that JNU and TU could maintain a good relationship and cooperation and promote cultivation of students' internationalization.
Takahashi briefed JNU officials on TU's highly international study and research environment. He expressed TU's strong wish to cooperate with JNU in many disciplines. In the meeting, JNU and TU reached an agreement on student and teacher exchanges and signed a memorandum of understanding and an agreement on students' exchange.
