A 28-member delegation of elite Macao students from Jinan University visited Macao for a four-day field trip and learning exchange from Dec.4 to 7.
The delegation visited nine units, including the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao S.A.R. There they gained an enhanced perspective on the significance of the concept of one country, two systems, experienced Macao's rapid development and enhanced their sense of social responsibility to serve Macao and the sense of the historical mission for China.
Shi Nina, vice president of the Macao New Chinese Youth Association(MNCYA), briefed the delegation on MNCYA’s work in social participation, career planning, volunteering, health promotion and membership affairs to help Macao youth grow and develop.
Hong Bo, director of the Youth Education Department's Higher Education Office, talked with the delegation about Macao's achievements in economic development, political system and educational undertaking since Macao returned to China.

Visiting the People´s Liberation Army Macao Garrison,The delegation increased its understanding of the garrison's significance and the friendship of soldiers stationed in Macao and their Macao compatriots by viewing military history exhibitions, joining simulated military exercises and watching documentary films.

The students visited the Bank of China Macau Branch to learn about its historical development and framework. They also visited Centro Hospitalar Conde de Sao Januario, where they observed advanced medical facilities. In the vocational training center of the Macao Federation of Trade Union, Liang Suixu, a JNU alumnus newly-appointed to the Macao Legislative Council, enthusiastically introduced the center's objectives and responsibilities in serving citizens.

The students and more than 20 outstanding alumni occupying key positions in all walks of life in Macao gathered and shared their deep affection for JNU and China.
