To develop international cooperation with countries along the One Belt and One Road, JNU President Hu Jun headed a delegation to ALBA Graduate Business School in Greece; Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UADB) and Universidad Europea de Madrid in Spain; and Lisbon University Institute and University of Mino (UOM) in Portugal from Nov. 30 to Dec 9. JNU signed memoranda of understanding and student exchange agreements with ALBA, UADB and UOM.
In Greece the delegation visited the Chinese Embassy, the Chinese Union and Athens Chinese School, and in Spain Sant Boi Chinese School in Barcelona and the Chinese Association. It had in-depth talks with ambassadors, overseas Chinese leaders and presidents of Chinese schools. It also visited overseas Chinese groups and schools to learn about their needs and challenges. Local Chinese media reported on the visits.

The delegation visited five renowned universities in eight days and signed four memoranda of understanding and exchange agreements. The delegation gave feedback to relevant JNU schools and disciplines to follow up on future cooperation
