The Higher Education Research and Assessment Center of JNU won an award at the fifth meeting of the China Association of Higher Education on Oct.19.

The center, formed by the integration of a research center and an assessment center of higher education in 2015, is mainly responsible for such work as academic research, policy consulting, publication editing, subject evaluation, internal quality assurance academic committee construction and drafting important documents. 

Outstanding research institutions for higher education in China are selected by the China Association of Higher Education every three years. The association aims to play a positive role in the reform and development of higher education, promote continuous strengthening of self-construction of research institutes, and provide better decision-making and practices in higher education.
