"Research on Key Techniques of Claw Frog Biomedicine and Its Mechanism of Scarless Regeneration in Myocardium," a national key research-and-development strategy in international sci-tech cooperation, recently kicked off at JNU. It was organized by Pro. Cai Dongqing of Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Regenerative Medicine in the College of Life Science and Technology.

Dong Ming, deputy director of science and technology exchange and cooperation in the Guangdong Science and Technology Department, introduced the project's development process. He said this laboratory was the first key lab run by a college or university in Guangdong or Hong Kong. It is supported by the national and Guangdong ministries of science and technology. After 10 years in development, it has become an international platform for cooperation in scientific research at the national and provincial levels, laying a solid foundation for success in applying for key projects in international sci-tech cooperation in national key R&D strategies.

As the first international sci-tech cooperation key project organized by JNU, it is another important achievement in building a high-level and Double First-Class university.
