A JNU delegation led by Vice President Rao Min visited the People's Friendship University of Russia, the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia (HSPUR); Duale Hochschule Baden-Wuerttemberg，Karlsruhe (DHBWK) in Germany; and Oxford and Cambridge universities in England from Oct. 16 to 25. The delegation also visited Portal China Co. in Russia, which is mainly in the business of arranging students in Russia studying abroad, and German Daily Life Newspaper. The trip's purposes were to promote the “One Belt and One Road” plan and to develop and deepen JNU's international communication and cooperation relationships.

During the visit, JNU delegation reached an intention of cooperation with HSPUR, DHBWK and Cambridge. It also signed a student enrollment agreement with Portal China Company.
