A donation ceremony in JNU's College of Arts on Oct. 26 honored alumnus Sang Xinxing for his contribution of 600,000 thousand yuan to upgrade equipment and maintain the entertainment hall and other professional training classrooms. Prof. Li Xuewu, the college’s executive vice dean, accepted the donation from Sang, who was later issued a certificate of donation by Wang Ting, deputy secretary general of the liaison office.
A 2012 graduate of the College of Arts, Sang is now an experienced new-media planner; a renowned trader for microbusiness; the CEO of Youth Media, the first domestic agency that helps microbusinesses obtain venture capital (IDG capital investment); the founder of the Easy Broadcast App; the general trader of Sirose, a famous cosmetic brand in the microbusiness market; and the executive producer of Ting Brand. Sang was invited to attend the China Internet Conference and Canton Tower Science and Technology Conference as a guest speaker in 2016 and this year was listed in Forbes 30 Under 30.
Sang also invited excellent fellow alumnus, the film director Ceng Xuehao, back to college to share his experience of artistic creation. Ceng was a member of the 2010 class of the college's film and television department, and his film First Experience After Graduation, which he both shot and directed, is currently a hit. Ceng encouraged students to master as much professional knowledge as possible and adhere to shooting and creation to produce good videos.
