A Jinan University delegation led by Xia Quan, the university's deputy party secretary, visited academic institutions in the United States, Canada and Japan by invitation from Sept. 17 to 26 to conduct talks and research on the international development of think tanks, exchanges of teachers and students from international relationship disciplines, cultivating high-level talents and research on teaching materials. The delegation also visited prestigious American and Canadian alumni representatives. It included representatives from the Social Science Research Department, the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, the College of International Studies, the Institute of Industrial Economics, and the College of Journalism and Communication.
