The project "Research on Socialist Core Values Integrated Into Civil Code Compilation" by Zhong Ruidong's team, all from JNU's College of Liberal Arts, has been officially set up as a major project of the National Social Science Foundation, namely, Integrate Socialist Core Values into the Rule of Law Foundation. 800,000 Yuan funds have been approved by the planning and leadership group of National Philosophy and Social Science.

This project aims to compile a 21st-century Civil Code with Chinese characteristics, in the spirit of the times. The research has four aspects: position and value orientation, system design, specification configuration and realization. "Integrate Socialist Core Values into the Rule of Law" is one of the National Social Science Foundation's major project types. It promotes multi-sector joint efforts, focuses on the launch of high-level research results, and provides academic and intellectual support for Socialist Core Values integrated in law and rules.
