To deepen international exchanges and cooperation between JNU and Latin America, Vice President Song Xianzhong visited Ecuador, Peru and Chile with a delegation from Sept. 21 to 30, meeting with leaders of four universities. The delegation visited Ecuadorian Espiritu University (UEES), the Peruvian Pacific University (UP), Private University of TELES (TELESUP) and the University of Chile (UC). It signed cooperation agreements with Espiritu University and the University of Chile. The delegation also interacted and exchanged with the local embassy, overseas Chinese schools, overseas Chinese communities, the Chilean national archives office and the Latin American Center of Chinese Confucius Institute.
