After the opening ceremony came the undergraduate freshman training camp. Hu introduced its program, purpose and significance. He also pointed out that in the last five years more than 30,000 JNU students started their university lives, changed their academic attitudes and fell in love with Jinan via the camp. The program, currently being optimized, is to be held by JNU’s five campuses at the same time as the "Freshmen Eve Gala" so that all teachers and students may enjoy and learn from it.
