Zheng Wenzhu has made "Take good as the line" as her philosophy of life. As a student in the class of 2014 in the School of International Studies' Academy of Overseas Chinese, Zheng, majoring in international politics, was named the "Fashion Star" in the fifth session of the Outstanding Students Award program and became one of the 12th Chinese University Student's Person of the Year. As deputy minister of youth of JNU's Hong Kong Alumni Club, she has actively promoted youth exchanges between Hong Kong and the mainland and held a number of exchanges, including one for the 20th anniversary of the handover of Hong Kong. At the same time, she is engaged in public entrepreneurship, having founded the Green Environmental Protection Company and RiXi Education Technology Co., Ltd. She has launched the Dream High Subsidy Program for students in poor mountainous areas, supporting six of them and helping a girl who dropped out of school return through online crowd funding.
Zheng said the influence of her own activities may not be apparent, but she is working bit by bit. She felt that "doing something" is better than "doing nothing." "Each of us has a limited capacity," she said, "but we can strive for something more within our power."

She participated in public welfare activities from an early age. In high school, she participated in the national junior high school student leadership contest with her classmates, and she is one of the founders and CEO of a new green eco-friendly company.
Zheng mentioned that the initial creation of green eco-friendly companies requires money they raise themselves. She began to raise money by collecting waste, and she collected almost all the waste of her school. She used the 2000 RMB raised in the first month for public welfare activities. Now, Zheng has supported three schools with classmates and organized short-term activities for education. We have not spent a penny in four years, which is not easy," she said.
Zheng also said her green benefits environmental protection company is a non-profit. Its biggest drawback is lack of funds, so the company has trouble expanding to meet the needs of more people. At last, she had an idea: to combine welfare and entrepreneurship.
Using that concept, Ri Xi Education Co., Ltd. was established with two general goals: to bring students to universities to gain more life experiences (including class and daily experiences), and to make public welfare activities educational and meaningful. It focuses on three areas: leadership training, accompanying education and learning tours. Yongyang Learning Tour, one of Ri Xi’s subsidiaries, is the cornerstone of the company. Zheng said Yongyang Learning Tour, still in its early stage, is taking 200 students to Guangzhou, Wuhan, Beijing and Zhongshan for 10 days this summer. Ri Xi is in partnership with over 20 colleges and universities.
Finally, Zheng said it is not difficult to have kind-hearted thoughts, but putting them into practice is not so easy; it is not difficult to do good deeds, but making them bear fruit is not common. These words have encouraged her to move forward in public welfare enterprise.
