The First China University Scientific and Technological Achievements Fair was held in Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, from June 22 to 24. Jinan University participated with over 60 scientific and technological achievements and won the Outstanding Organization Award issued by the organizing committee. The project of Prof. Huang Shiqing of the College of Science and Engineering, "Stretchable Lithium-Ion Battery Based on Origami," received the Achievement Innovation Award. In addition, the project "New Type of Indoor Air-Cleaning Device" by Dr. Lu Gang of the School of Environment exactly met the demands of the Guangdong Chenghui Investment Group Co., Ltd., and a contract was signed immediately.

This fair was hosted by the Ministry of Education's Science and Technology Development Center, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Guangdong Department of Education, the Guangdong Economic and Information Commission, and the Huizhou Municipal People's Government, with the Ministry of Education and People’s Government of Guangdong Province as guiding units.

Work exhibited by JNU included 10 works at special booths, 19 key recommendation projects and 2 road show projects. These projects covered the fields of intelligent equipment; microelectronics; big data and communication; new materials; stem cells and tissue engineering; precision medicine; energy-saving and new energy; environmental protection and comprehensive utilization of resources, as well as artificial intelligence.

With the theme "Bridge Industrial-Academic Divides, Cooperate to Innovate Win-Win," the fair displayed nearly 10,000 achievements from over 300 colleges and universities at home and abroad. It focused on 10 fields, including intelligent equipment and precision medicine, to build a trading and cooperation platform for colleges and universities.
