The Ministry of Science and Technology has released its 2017 list of National Key Research and Development Plan Programs, which includes "Protein Machinery and Life Process Control" and "Study on the Cause of Formation and Control of Atmospheric Pollution." Two JUN projects were successfully selected on the list as the subproject. One is the "High Dimensional Identification of Protein Modified Groups and Their Functional Networks", which obtained a project fund of 31.23 million RMB, with Prof. He Qingyu of the College of Life Sciences and Technology as its project leader. And the other is the "Key Atmospheric Processes Affecting Regional Emissions and Sedimentation Responses", which obtained a project fund of 26.69 million RMB, with Prof. Wang Xuemei of JNU Institute for Environmental and Climate Research as its project leader.
It is the first time the ministry has selected projects led by JNU as the chief scientific unit for the National Key Research and Development Plan Program -- another important achievement for JNU in building a high-level university.
