Xia Quan, JNU's deputy party secretary, led a delegation of seventh JNU Outstanding Students to Hong Kong on June 11 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China on the invitation of Dai Defeng, standing committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, chairman of the Four Seas Group and JNU board member. To learn about Hong Kong's prosperity in the last 20 years, the 49-member delegation paid a four-day visit, stopping at the People's Liberation Army garrison in Hong Kong, the Legislative Council, the Liaison Office, the Resources Department, Ta Kung Pao newspaper, the Fu Jian Secondary School, the Open University Of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Association for Friendship and the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups.
