The 2014 class in applied physics has been named one of the excellent classes on the 5A Guiding Program of JNU.

The designation indicates ambitious and lofty ideals, academic orientation, aspiring to knowledge, acquiring profession and all-around development.

"Our class is worthy of the‘5A excellent class,’ "said student Qiu Meijia. "The class life and learning atmosphere are very good. I like this class!"

The class's GPA increased from 2.66 in its sophomore year to 3.02 in the junior.

Jinan good monitor Zeng Pingyang is not only good at dealing with class affairs but also sets a good example in studies. He has twice won the national inspirational scholarship and published a paper included by the SCI A1 area.

In the selections of the 5A Guiding Program, Qiu Meijia and Ye Yaokun, named academic star and learning star respectively, added a touch of glory to this shining class.
