Dr. Kuang Youdi of the College of Electrical and Information Engineering has published three series papers in the academic journal Nanoscale (IF=7.76), Physical Review B: Rapid Communications (IF=5.1) and the International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer (IF=2.86).

Dr. Kuang was recruited as a researcher at the fourth level of the School of Mechanics and Construction Engineering in March 2016, and was certified as a doctoral tutor in April 2017. A 2007 graduate of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Dr. Kuang was a postdoctoral researcher on nanotechnology and physical mechanics. His study field spanned mechanics, physics, materials and chemistry. He has published more than 30 research papers, cited over 360 times, in the journals Nano Letters, Carbon, Nanotechnology, Miscrofluidics and Nanofluidics. Kuang has also been named a Distinguished Professor (Orientalist) by universities in Shanghai.
