Saeed Ghedayer Al Mansoori, Reem Mahmud Ishtiaq and Mohamed Musabah Al Mansoori from the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), together with Du Wei, Chinese director of the Confucius Institute of Zayed University, visited JNU's College of Chinese Language and Culture this spring to negotiate a partnership.

They discussed issues including degree programs, sources of students, internationalization of higher education.

In the meeting, Shao Yi, dean of JNU's College of Chinese Language and Culture (CCLC), introduced Guangzhou's historic culture and humanistic landscape. He also briefed the delegation on JNU's history, sources of international students, scholarships for international students, the current situation of Chinese language and culture education in CCLC, and the college's operating characteristics.

Wang Liwei, dean of JNU's International School, introduced the school's undergraduate and master's degree programs, all taught in English. He also described admission requirements, teachers' backgrounds, teaching workshops and the proportion of international students. 

Mansoori introduced ADIA's background and development history. The aim of the visit was to increase cooperation in international students’ scholarship programs and cultivate international talents together.
