Wang Xiaogang, an associate researcher in JNU's College of Life Science and Technology, published a paper titled "Lnc-mg is a long non-coding RNA that promotes myogenesis" in the March 10 issue of Nature Communications.

Wang's team has been committed to research on the basis and transformation of mobility degenerative disease. In recent years, the team has worked with another research group led by Sun Yao of Tongji University, achieving a series of results published in Nature medicine (2013,19,93), ACS Nano (2016,10,5759), Nature Communications (2017, 8,14718) and other publications. This paper is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation and the Outstanding Youth Project of the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation.
