JNU Prof. Li Zhiming led his research team to publish the paper CCR2- and CCR2+ Corneal Macrophages Exhibit Distinct Characteristics and Balance Inflammatory Responses After Epithelial Abrasion in the Nature Mucosal Immunology (Mucosal Immunol. 2017 Jan. 25. doi: 10.1038/mi.2016.139.) The magazine belongs to the first district of medical science under the CAS SCI journals and records the proceedings of the International Society for Mucosal Immunology. Most of its published papers are about the latest research in mucosal immunology and inflammatory reaction. The first author of the paper is Liu Jun, a doctoral candidate, and Prof. Li is the corresponding author.

Based on the platforms of the international collaborative research center of ocular surface disease of the JNU Basic Medical School, Baylor College of Medicine in the United States and the Key Laboratory for Regenerative Medicine Education of the Education Ministry of China at JNU, the scientific research achievement was funded by the National Natural Science Foundation (funding number: 30672287, 30772387 and 81470603), the JNU Talent Introduction Fund and other projects.
