A three-member delegation from the University of Navarra in Spain, headed by Vice President Hugo Lopez, visited JNU on Dec. 5. JNU Vice President Song Xianzhong met the delegation, along with the representatives from the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation.

In recent years in international exchange and cooperation, as well as construction as a high-level university. He also expressed hope that JNU could cooperate with the University of Navarra to launch concrete projects under the cooperation framework Consortium Campus Iberus, the Excellent Universities approved by the Spanish Ministry of Education. Lopez introduced the University of Navarra's professional advantages in economics, medicine and engineering. After future discussion, the two universities agreed to launch student exchange programs, summer courses and internships as soon as possible, and to introduce scholars in economics, engineering and life sciences to one another to promote scientific research cooperation.
Founded in 1952, the University of Navarra is a member of Consortium Campus Iberus. The teaching quality of its programs taught in English ranks No. 1 in Spain, while its economics, law and engineering majors top the list among public universities in Spain. JNU signed the cooperation agreement with Consortium Campus Iberus in 2015.
