The closing ceremony of the 10-day Fifth Global Learning Camp was held on JNU's Zhuhai campus in June. Exchange students from the University of Wisconsin in the United States and JNU students participated.

In the learning camp, JNU volunteers serving as buddies took the exchange students on visits to enterprises in Guangzhou and Zhuhai, and sightseeing to places of historical interest and scenic beauty. To help the exchange students deepen their knowledge of Chinese culture, JNU arranged lessons in paper-cutting, interviewing skills and spoken Chinese. After class, they learned how to make dumplings from JNU students. At parting, students at the two universities exchanged presents to commemorate their friendship.
