JNU students won 4 awards again in the 9thAnnualNational Conference on Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship held on Nov 19, which let JNU mount national conference's highest award platform for the 4th time in succession after the 6th,7th and 8th national conferences.
JNU's projects "Smog Processing Equipment of Minimally Invasive Surgery Based on the Technology of Vacuum Ultraviolet's Catalytic Oxidation" from the School of Environment and "Digital Birds Museum" from the College of Life Science and Technology won 2 awards respectively - one for the Best Creativity Project and the other for My Favorite Project.
This Conference sponsored by the Ministry of Education was organized by Xiamen University. More than 1500 people attended the conference, including the representatives from over 300 universities nationwide and University of Ulsan in Korea, the Ministry of Education and local education authorities, expert groups and cooperative groups from National Undergraduates Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Programs, as well as from all walks of life. After the online and offline experts evaluation, 200 projects have been selected into the annual conference from 845 submissions from 573 universities. Among them, twenty projects selected by the expert judges won the awards for the Best Creativity Project and twenty others selected by the delegations won the awards for My Favorite Project.
