The 27th International Symposium on Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis (PBA) attracted more than 600 experts and scholars from over 30 countries and regions to Guangzhou from Nov.13 to 16 to discuss the development of this pioneering discipline.

The symposium was organized by the International Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical Analysis Committee and co-hosted by JNU, the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association's Drug Analysis Committee and the Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis, Over 60 editors from over 30 journals in drug analysis and analytical chemistry attended.

The PBA symposium is the largest and most influential academic event in the international pharmaceutical analysis circle. This is the first time it has been held in Guangzhou, and JNU was chosen as the first stop, highlighting international peer recognition of JNU's pharmaceutical analysis discipline development and JNU's further research cooperation with international first-class research institutes. It was a significant event in the building of a high-level university.
