Student team from Civil Engineering Department, College of the science & Engineering  of our university attended the 9th National Structural Design Competition for university students from October 15th to 18th and won the third prize. Their score was 9.27, ranked 6th among 110 teams from 109 colleges and universities including universities renowned in the field of architecture teaching, such as Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute Of Technology, Tongji University etc.
The theme of 9th National Structural Design Competition was Mountainour Area Bridge Design & Handmake and 3D Printing Assembly Production, which employed burma road as the background of design, requiring competitors to design a bridge for the road utilizing 3d technologies.
