On Sept.4, 2015, International School organized the defense for Guangdong Province Outstanding International Students Scholarship. Fifteen staff from International School, Student Affairs Department and International Affairs office of Jinan University were invited to be judges. 
 

                
                              
168 international student applicants from more than 20 regions and countries were shortlisted for the scholarship defense, which consists of four parts involving lots-drawing, PPT display, Q&A and giving marks.

The scholarship was initiated by Guangdong government in 2013 with the aim of taking a comprehensive look at international students’ ability to learn, to express, as well as their moral behavior. The defense will definitely play a positive role in setting models, increasing students’ feeling toward China and stimulating overall development of international students as it has been over the last two years.
