Mr. Eddie Ng Hak-kim, SBS, JP, Secretary for Education and his 6 colleagues visited Jinan University to conduct a discussion with Jinan University on Guangdong -- Hong Kong collaboration on education and youth programs.

Mr. Hu Jun, president of our university met the distinguished guests and delivered a brief introduction on our development  and our collaboration with the Hong Kong educational circle in recent years.  Mr. Ng Hak-kim had brief introduction on the higher education in Hong Kong and new educational policies issued in recent years. Also, Mr. Ng had in-depth discussion with our university on several issues such as associate’s degree holder to have further study in mainland, the seamless docking of degrees between Hong Kong and mainland.

After the meeting of the two parties, Mr. Ng had a symposium with the Hong Kong Student in our university.
