On the morning of April 25th, 30 students from the main campus and south campus began their journey to the T.I.T Creative Park. The temperature was not very high and the great weather put everyone in a good mood.
After all the participants got there by subway, they were divided into 6 groups to play games. As usual, the first game was ice-breaker. Everyone formed a circle by joining hands. Then they mingled and intertwined the hands. The aim was to restore the former formation. It was a little hard and brought fun to the atmosphere quickly. Then we moved on to the next game which was called ‘Guess the idiom by the actions’. The rule of this game was that the first participant was given an idiom and he needed to tell the next one about this idiom by making facial expressions and actions. Finally the last one should guess what the idiom was. Everyone tried to express the idiom correctly but not many participants could make the faces enough to guess. The name of the third game is ‘following the picture’. Each group chose two pictures at random and their members need to follow the postures which were shown on pictures. It was funny and attracted passers’ by attention.
After having lunch, the day grew dark and it was raining dogs and cats. Unfortunately, the rest of the activities were all canceled.
This second Community Activity was held by the Organizational Affairs Department & Media and Journalism Department. Each director had made great efforts to it. What a pity that it wasn’t to be held completely because of the bad weather. However, everyone still had the good hope to join the Community Activity the next term.
