Mr. Tim Yeo, a British council visited the Research Institute of Sustainable Development of Resource and Environment of our university and delivered a lecture titled “The Challenge and Opportunities of Climate Change: a UK Perspective”on June 4th. .

As the chairman of the Energy and Climate Change Committee of UK Parliament,in his two-hour long speech, Mr. Yeo shared his opinions on current change of global climate and the great impact of increasing greenhouse gases emission. According to Mr. Yeo, human activities is the direct cause of global climate change.
