Along with the launching of the NALSSP (National Asian Languages and Studies in Schools Program), Chinese language learning has more and more popular than before in Australian mainstream schools and the new South Wales has implemented a new Heritage Course curriculum specially for students of Asian origins. The College of Chinese Language & Culture is invited by a local Chinese Language teaching association in Australia to compile localized Chinese language textbook for mainstream schools offering Heritage course under the NALSSP. The textbook writing program has funded by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council and will be launched recently.
