On the work conference of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of Guangdong Province held on Feb. 25th, which was about Guangdong Province local legislation research issues including legislation evaluation and consulting services etc, the Regulations of Guangdong Province Local Legislation Research Higher Institutes Union was passed. Jinan University, as one of the members and initiators of the Union, signed the adherence agreement for members. Also, the Standing Committee signed an agreement with our university to officially commit the JNU Research Base on Guangdong Province Local Legislation Research Evaluation and Consulting Services to draft Guangdong Province Environmental Protection Regulation (Revised draft), another regulation after Guangdong Province petition Ordinance (Draft) committed by the Standing Committee of the NPC of Guangdong Province.
