JNU Delegation attends Chinese Week held by Confucius College

Professor Wang Zhiwei, comissioned by Mr. Hu Jun, president of our university visited Rhodes University of South Africa from September 22nd to 29th.

Professor Wang et al. attended the Chinese Week undertaken by JNU-Rhodes Confucius College and the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Confucius College and listened to the work report given by the deans of the College.

During the Chinese Week, experts and professors of our delegation gave a series of speech. Doctor Zhao Changqing from the 1^st Clinical College gave a speech on traditional Chinese Medicine, and gave life presentation on cupping therapy, acupuncture and moxibustion. Zheng Xiaojun, faculty from College of Journalism & Communication gave a speech on Chinese traditional painting. The speeches aroused the audience’s interest in traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese arts.

Since the founding of JNU-Rhodes Confucius College in 2008, the Chinese Week has become the annual and brand event of the College and our university has sent out delegations for 6 times to attend the event.
