New South Wales International Education Executive Officer et al. Visit our University
Mr. Mark Howland, executive officer of International Education of the New South Wales and Mr. Christ Wen, the Asian Programs Officer visited our university on Spetember 4th. Personnel in charges from International Affairs Office, International School and Teaching Affairs Office of our university attended the meeting.
Mr. Song Xianzhong, vice president of our university delivered a brief introduction to our university as a Paramount School for overseas Chinese education, our current development and our advantages for enrolling foreign students. Mr. Mark Howland told that their mission for the current visit was to look for cooperative opportunity between Guangdong Province and the New
South Wales. Other mission for them was to discuss the plausibility for the students of TAFE (Technical And Further Education) taking undergraduate courses in Jinan University. Mr. Mark Howland also expressed their will of establishing score transition system and accreditation system with our university so as to realize seamless transition for their students in JNU.
The two parties will discuss issues like curriculum transition and degree accreditation after the meeting and will sign a memorandum of understanding as soon as possible.
