Professor of our university selected member of the council of the Chinese Economists Society
In the recent selection of the member the Council of the Chinese Economists Society, Professor Chen Anping, from College of Economy of our university was selected the member of Council for year 2013-2014.
CES is one of the most influential academic organizations on Chinese Economy Studies internationally, founded in New York in May, 1985. since its founding, the CES has been committed to boost academic exchanges and cooperation between China and other countries, to push forward studies on Chinese Economy and modern economist education, and to promote economic reform and development of China. More than 2,000 people have attended the Society and its members are from the North America, Asia, Europe and other parts of the World.
China Economic Review, a periodical published by the Society since 1989, has become one of the most influential journal in the field of China economy studies.
From year 1993 on, the Society holds annual international forum in China, inviting renowned scholars, principals and entrepreneurs to attend the forum, playing a very important role in academic research and reform of the Chinese economy. The forum of 2014 is to be held in our university, and many scholars including Nobel Prize winners for Economics will be invited to attend the forum.
