The 4th Council of the General Alumni Association and 20th Anniversary of the Alumni Association

The 4^th council of the General Alumni Association and 20^th Anniversary of the Alumni Association was held on December 29^th, 2012 at the International Conference Room of our university.Present on the meeting included Mr Zhaoyang, the former vice president of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, Mr. Wang Baorong, vice president of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Mr. Ma Yauheng, director of the General alumni Association of our University.

On the meeting, the new regulations of the Alumni Association, and the name list of the members of the 4^th council. Mr. Ma Yauheng was invited to the reappointment of the director of the General Alumni Association, and Mr. Lin Ru Peng was elected as the director-general of the 4^th Council of the General Alumni Association and four attendants elected as member of the Council including Mr. Hu Jun (president of JNU), Mr. Jiang Shuzhuo (vice president of JNU), Mr. Liu Renhuai and Mr. Zhou Yaoming.

Mr. Ma Yauheng said on the meeting that Jinan University always geared to the educational need of overseas Chinese students, and undertook the task of spreading the Chinese Culture to Southeast Asia. For the past many years, Jinan University had cultivated many talents for home and abroad, said Mr. Ma. All our alumni always bear in minds our school motto, and work very hard and have made great contribution. No matter where they are, their hearts are with the Alma Mater.
