Abstract: The report first summarizes the origin and development history of artificial intelligence, then introduces the research status of deep learning in intelligence application based on big data, focusing on the progress of deep learning in natural language processing. The last part of the report illustrates our primary studies in natural language processing, especially in structuring unstructured documents.

Introduction to speaker: Prof. Li Zhoujun, doctoral supervisor and a member of the cyber security consultative group of Academic Degree Committee of State Council, the general council of Cybersecurity Association of China, vice chairman of language intelligence committee of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, a member of ACM, IEEE and AAAI. His main research fields are data mining and social network analysis, artificial intelligence and natural language processing, and network and information security. He has published more than 300 academic papers in SCI journals including TKDE and TIFS and top international conferences including AAAI, IJCAI, KDD, ACL, EMNLP, etc., and won the best paper award in ECIR 2010.
