ABOUT Sasho Gligorovski

Sasho Gligorovski is a research professor in Chinese Academy of Science at Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry. In 2005 has achieved a Ph.D. under the guidance of supervisor Hartmut Herrmann at the Institute for Tropospheric Research in Germany, followed by one year of postdoc (2005-2006) with Christian George at IRCELYON, France. From 2006 to 2012 he was enrolled as an Assistant Professor at Aix Marseille University. He also served as an Associate Professor at Aix Marseille University in France from 2012 to 2017. At present he is a Research Professor in Chinese Academy of Science at Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry.

His research interest includes kinetics, mechanisms, and photochemistry of gas phase, aqueous phase and heterogeneous reactions(light) occurring at various surfaces of environmental relevance (aerosol, ocean), and on indoor surfaces, aiming to provide quantitative information for regional and global photochemical model so that scientific issues like air quality and climate change can be better understood.
Sasho has published many academic papers in international journals such as Science, PNAS, Chem. Rev., Appl. Catal. B: Environ., Environ. Sci. Technol, etc.
