ABOUT DENG HEXIANG
Deng Hexiang, professor of the College of Chemistry and Molecular Sciences, Wuhan University, is one of the candidates in China's Recruitment Program of Global Experts (known as the Thousand Talents Plan). Graduated from Fudan University with bachelor's degree, he obtained doctoral degree from University of California at Los Angeles (DCLA) under the guidance of Prof. Omar Yaghi. He successively engaged in postdoctoral research in DCLA and the Lawrence National Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley in 2012-2013. In early 2013, Deng engaged in the College of Chemistry and Molecular Sciences, Wuhan University, and worked as young academic leader. His research focuses are as follows: green porous material, green nano-materials for energy storage, application of solid Nano-materials in gas storage and separation, energy saving and emission reduction, selective catalysis, etc. Many famous international journals such as Science, Nature, Nature Chemistry, Nature Communication, Chem, JACS, and Angew. Chem. Int.Ed. had published his research papers, and medias like Nature Chemistry, C&EN, Science Daily, Asian News International and Nanotechnology Now had reported his research achievements.
