ABOUT JIANG BIN

Jiang Bin has achieved a doctor degree of neurobiology and biophysics of University of Science and Technology of China. He has done researches at the level of doctoral degree in Faculty of Medical Science, Osaka University (Japan) and in Faculty of Medical Science, Johns Hopkins University (America). He was the vice director and researcher of the core research group for plasticity of cerebral cortex circuitry of RIkagaku KENkyusho/Institute of Physical and Chemical Research and Brain Science Research Center in Japan. Since in 2009, he has been hired as the professor of Physiology Department, School of Medicine and the supervisor for doctoral candidates and postdoctoral programme after being introduced by Sun Yat-sen University for 100- Talent Programme. With over 20-year-experience on neuroscience research, he has focused the plasticity of visual cortex’s functional development at the Molecular and cellular level. He has
issued over 20 papers on journals including Nature Neuroscience, Neuron,  Journal of Neuroscience and Neuropharmacology and has been the reviewer for Journal of Neuroscience, Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience, Journal of Neurophysiology, Neuroscience, Brain Research and Neuroscience letters . Now, he is the editor for Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience.
