ABOUT LI DAN
Professor Li Dan is now a doctoral supervisor and Dean of the College of Chemistry and Materials Science in Jinan University. His research field covers the study of coordination and supramolecular chemistry, and the synthesis, structure, application of the coordination compound and its aggregates. He directed key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation Major Programs and the National Program on Key Basic Research Project, which also known as the 973 Program. Prof. Li published more than 160 papers on international journals like J. Am. Cham. Soc. and Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. and had an H-index of 48. He was honored with the title of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars(2008), Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the State Council Expert for Special Allowance, Model Worker of Guangdong Province, Young Academic Talents and won the first prize for the National Science and Technology Awards (the first person to complete the project). He is principally engaged in the teaching of Inorganic Chemistry, Coordination Chemistry and Principles of Instrumental Analysis. Prof. Li is also council member of the Chinese Chemical Society, the Vice-President of the Council of Guangdong Chemical Society and executive member of the Guangdong Material Research Society.
