ABOUT YU HAO-HAI

Born in Oct.1981, he is a doctor of Engineering, professor, doctoral supervisor, winner of National Outstanding Youth Foundation, winner of Shandong Outstanding Young Persons Fund and German Humboldt Scholar. He is principally engaged in the research of opto-functional crystals, laser technology and devices, and crystal physics, and has undertaken or participated in more than 10 topics of national and provincial level. He has published more than 40 papers on the Materials Science, Optics and Physics publications like Adv. Mater.、ACS Nano、Laser& Photon. Rev.、Appl. Phys. Lett. and so on. He was authorized with 10 national invention patents. He graduated from the State Key Laboratory of Crystal Materials of Shandong University in 2008 with a doctorate degree in Materials Science. His doctoral dissertation was nominated by National Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation, Shandong Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation and Shandong University Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation”. After graduation, he continued to work in Shandong University. He was selected as Humboldt Scholar to join the research in Max-Born-Institute for Nonlinear Optics and Ultrafast Spectroscopy. He was hired as associate professor and master tutor after his return to China in 2012 and gained an exceptional promotion to professor in 2014. He was elected to be a doctoral supervisor in 2015.
