ABOUT SUN CONG

PhD, master tutor, works at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Sun graduated from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications majoring in math and applied mathematics in 2008. He got his doctor degree from Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science in operational research in 2013. Dr. Sun Cong has twice received a scholarship from the Chinese Academy of Sciences for International Exchange Scholarships (2012) and the German Natural Science Foundation (2015) and visited Dresden University of Technology. Dr. Sun's research focuses on nonlinear optimization methods, especially the optimization of signal processing applications, including sub-optimization, quadratic programming constraints, Robust optimization, etc. He was granted with the Young Innovative Talents Project by Association for Science and Technology in 2017 and presided over the project from National Natural Science Foundation for youth and took part in a major research project and one key project in that. He has published over ten papers like IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing on top journals and conferences in signal processing field.
