ABOUT TANG MIN-HUI

Tang Min-hui, deputy director general of the Department of Science and Technology in JNU. She has been engaged in the management of the National Natural Science Foundation of China for many years and has rich theoretical and practical experience in the project policies and management of the National Natural Science Foundation of China

ABOUT CHEN JIA-XU

Chen Jia-xu, Doctor of Medicine, professor, chief physician, doctoral supervisor. He is the dean of College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in JNU, and also the gainer of National Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and National 100 Excellent Doctoral Dissertations Award. He is the Distinguished Professor of Cheung Kong Scholar by the Ministry of Education, and the visiting scholar to NIH and UCLA. He is also the vice chairman of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Diagnostic Professional Committee and Li Shizhen Pharmaceutical Research and Application Committee. He has been engaged in teaching Chinese medicine diagnosis, scientific research and clinical work for a long time. His main research direction is the standardization of TCM syndrome and its biological basis. As the director, he was responsible for National Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, National Natural Science Foundation key and general projects, 863 Project, special funds for authors of outstanding doctoral dissertations in institutions of higher education, fund for young teachers of institutions of higher education by the Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation, and teaching and research awards for elite young teachers in colleges and universities, etc. He proposed more than 300 academic papers, and won 2 second awards in natural science field of Science and Technology Award of Higher Education, also won 2 second awards of China Chinese Medicine Institute of Science and Technology Award. Diagnostics of Traditional Chinese Medicine spoken by him was named the first batch of 2003 national quality courses. He was editor of industry planning textbook in the “12th Five-Year” Development Plan and the 13th Five-Year Development Plan---Diagnostics of Traditional Chinese Medicine and its English edition.


Part three: the writing, declaration and review experience of National Natural Science Foundation declaration

Speaker: Li Yang-qiu, JNU

ABOUT LI YANG-QIU

Li Yang-qiu, director of the Institute of Hematology of the Foundation Medical School in JNU, director of Hematology Department of the First Clinical College in JNU, researcher, doctoral supervisor. He is the vice chairman of the Chinese Society of Experimental Hematology, the group leader of the Hematology Immunology team, and the review group expert of the 13th and 14th NSFC medical science disciplines. He attended the review of Innovative Research Group of the NSFC Medical Department, National Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, National Fund for Outstanding Young Scholars, key projects and great international cooperation and general projects. As a member of the Hematology Research Group, he participated in the writing of Strategic Research Report of the 13th Five-Year Development Plan of the NSFC Medical Research Area --- Hematology fascicule. He has engaged in the research of blood tumor pathogenesis and immune-related mechanisms for a long time. He has undertaken 9 National Natural Science Foundation of China, 863 Project, the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation of Key Projects, and more than 60 projects of the Ministry of Education and Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Department. He was awarded the first, the second and the third prizes for science and technology at the provincial and ministerial level, published more than 90 papers including the first author and correspondent SCI, edited 2 monographs and granted 11 invention patents.
