ABOUT YU HONG-JUN
Yu Hong-jun comes from Nong'an County of Jilin province. He studied in Northeast Normal University and Renmin University of China. He was a senior visiting scholar of Rostov University in the Don River, Russia. Mr. Yu now is a part-time professor or specially-invited expert and doctoral supervisor of over ten universities and colleges including Chinese Academy of Governance, International College of Defence Studies, NDU, PLA, China, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Jilin University, Jinan University and Huaqiao University.
Yu was once a teacher of Jilin Provincial Party School, a counsellor of Policy Research Bureau of the Central Foreign Affairs Office, a news spokesman of International Department, Central Committee of CPC, the Chinese ambassador to Uzbekistan, former vice minister of International Department and the director of China Center for Contemporary World Studies. Now, he is the vice president of Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament, member of the foreign affairs committee of CPPCC. Meantime, he is the president, counselor or chief expert of academic committee of many non-governmental research institutions, such as Pangoal Institution, The Chahar Institute, Taihe Institute and so on. Mr. Yu is also an expert on international issues and world socialist problems. At present, he focuses on international relations, world party politics and Chinese diplomacy
