Title: On the Heat Equation

Introduction: In this talk，we are concerned with the Omega limit set, chaos, small perturbation，life span and periodic solution of the nonlinear heat equation.

ABOUT YIN JING-XUE
Professor Yin Jingxue mainly engaged in research of degenerating and other singularity nonlinear diffusion equation. He published more than 100 papers in a variety of academic journals at home and abroad, and co-published five monographs. Since 1994, he had presided over or assumed the National Natural Science Foundation Key Projects for three times. In 1997, he was selected into cross-century talents training program by the Ministry of Education. In 1999, he undertook 973 major projects by the Ministry of Science and Technology and Foundation for University Key Teachers project by the Ministry of Education. His academic achievements awarded the first prize of science and technology progress by the Ministry of Education in 1999. In 2001, he won the National Outstanding Youth Fund and outstanding young scholars' award by Hong Kong Qiu Shi Foundation. In 2001, he was named the distinguished professor of the Chang Jiang Scholars Program. In 2002, he was named  the backbone teacher of the Foundation for University Key Teachers project by the Ministry of Education. He was named senior experts in Jilin Province in 2005 and Jilin Province teacher morals pacesetter in 2006. He also won outstanding teacher award of Baogang Education Foundation.
