ABOUT ZHENG GUO-HUA

ZHENG Guo-hua, born in 1972 in Fuzhou, Jiangxi Province, is a professor and doctoral tutor. He is the executive director of Institute for History and Culture of Sport, Shanghai University of Sport, and one of the editorial board members of The International Journal of the History of Sport, the source journal of SSCI and A&HCI. He is also the person selected for Jiangxi Province New Century Talents Project, and the second-level candidate of Zhengjiang Province "151 Talents Project". Mr. Zheng presided over two projects supported by National Social Science Foundation, one biding project approved by Ministry of Treasury, and six provincial projects. He also published three papers on SSCI, three on EI, four on Sports Science, more than 50 on the core journal of CSSCI, three monographs and 16 translated works as the chief editor. In addition, Zheng won the third prize in the seventh scientific research award for outstanding achievements in colleges and universities, which was supported the Ministry of Education, and the first prize in provincial award for excellent scientific achievement twice as well as the second prize for one year.
