ABOUT WANG SHI-HUA

    He has been assigned to work at his alma mater until now after graduating from Anhui Normal University in 1973. During 1997 to 2008, he has served as the associated dean of Anhui Normal University, the chief, professor and doctor tutor of Historical and Cultural Research Center of the South of Anhui in Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences in colleges and universities of Anhui Province. He has also served as government counselor in Anhui province, the president of the History Society of Anhui province, the vice-chairman of Chinese Society for the History of the Ming Dynasty, the vice-chairman of Chinese Society for the History of Business, the vice-chairman of Huizhou Society for Culture in Anhui province. Professor Wang has been long engaged in teaching and research of ancient Chinese history and Huizhou Culture Study. His main interests include the history of Ming and Qing dynasty. He authors, co-authors and edits dozens of monographs. Besides, he published more than 70 research papers. All above indicate that he has a deep knowledge of Huizhou culture. His book anthology of Huizhou Merchant in Ming and Qing dynasty wins the second prize of National Excellent Ancient Book. For his attainments in history subject, now he holds the post of History Subject Meeting assessment expert of Social Science Funding Project.
