ABOUT REN JIAN-TAO:
REN Jian-tao is Professor of Politics at Tsinghua University, senior visiting scholar of the Harvard-Yenching Institute, USA, and Distinguished Professor in Changjiang Scholar Program of Ministry of Education of China. His studies mainly focus on political philosophy, Chinese and Western political ideology and Chinese politics. Up to the present, he has a dozen individual monographs and anthologies published. His newly-published works include Confusion Over Country Establishment: Overseas Chinese Elites and Misunderstandings on Modern Politic (2012), Polyphonic Confucianism: From Classic Interpretation to Modern Exploration (2013), God Worships: Western Political Theory and Methods (2014), Demolish the Old and Bring Forth the New: Sidelights on Chinese Political Development (2014), Rethinkings about Hu Shi (he is the chief editor of the book, 2015), Keep Calm in Commotional World (2016), Political Philosophy of the Public (2016).
